Brass Band Residency

Rehearsals

The PMR Brass Band includes members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds that travel from across Canada, North America and Europe to take part and connect with other musicians and brass band enthusiasts.

The week consists of daily rehearsals, clinics, mini lectures and masterclasses that cover many facets of Brass Band playing in preparation for a final performance with the guest soloists. Not to mention lots of important social time and activities!

The brass band has two main performances, an open air concert either at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival or the Saskatoon Ex  and a more formal Gala concert on the Saturday night.

The Brass Band Residency is open to any experienced brass player who wishes to take part and improve their existing skills and knowledge in an inclusive and friendly environment.
